JerseyLog — Privacy Policy

Overview

JerseyLog (“the App”) is a mobile application for football jersey collectors to catalog, share, and discover jerseys. This policy explains what data we collect and how we use it.

Data We Collect

Account Information

• Email address — used for authentication (sign in / sign up). Not shared with other users.
• Username — chosen by you, visible to other users.
• Password — stored securely by Firebase Authentication. We never see or store your password in plain text.

Jersey Collection Data

• Club name, season, type, manufacturer, gender, condition, size, player name, player number.
• Jersey photos you upload (stored via Cloudinary).
• Purchase price (stored privately — only visible to you).

Social Data

• Followers and following lists.
• Comments, ratings, and likes on jerseys.
• Private messages between users.
• Wishlist (bookmarked jerseys).

Device Data

• We do not collect device identifiers, location data, or analytics data.

How We Use Your Data

• To provide the service: display your collection, enable social features (follow, comment, message), and personalize your experience (language, colour scheme).
• To improve the App: we may review aggregated, non-personal usage patterns.
• We do NOT sell your data to third parties.
• We do NOT serve advertisements.

Data Storage

• Account and jersey data is stored in Google Firebase (Firestore), hosted in the EU/US.
• Photos are stored via Cloudinary.
• All data is transmitted over encrypted connections (HTTPS).

Data Sharing

We do not share your personal data with third parties, except:

• Firebase / Google — for authentication and data storage (as our infrastructure provider).
• Cloudinary — for image hosting.
• Law enforcement — if required by law.

Your Rights

You can at any time:

• View your data within the App.
• Edit your jersey data and profile.
• Delete your account under Profile, which permanently removes your user data, jerseys, and private messages.
• Contact us at jersey.log@tutamail.com for any data-related requests.

Children’s Privacy

JerseyLog is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, contact us at jersey.log@tutamail.com.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The latest version will always be available at this URL.

Account Deletion

You can delete your account at any time directly within the app:

1. Open JerseyLog
2. Go to Profile
3. Scroll down and tap Delete account
4. Enter your password to confirm
5. Tap Delete forever

This permanently and immediately deletes:

• Your account and login credentials
• Your entire jersey collection
• Your profile and username
• Your private messages and conversations
• Your wishlist

This action cannot be undone.

If you are unable to access the app, you can also request account deletion by emailing jersey.log@tutamail.com with the subject line “Account Deletion Request” and we will delete your account within 30 days.
